EMIS
This guide will help you get started on EMIS (Emerging Markets Information Service) which provides a unique blend of analysis, data and news on companies, industries and countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America

EMIS licenses content from leading sources of company and industry intelligence and combines it with a database of over 6.6 million companies, M&A information, and country level research.
You can access up to 10 reports and up to 250 companies in list form per day. You can search EMIS and view the reports on PCs at Crawley Library only.
If you would like a copy of an EMIS report, please fill in the Ask a Librarian form with the details of the report you require.
How to use EMIS
Go to eInformation: Online Reference Library and click A-Z of electronic resources.
Scroll down and click on EMIS.
The EMIS homepage will be displayed. Click on CLIENT LOG IN in the top right corner of the page to open the EMIS database.
The EMIS search screen will be displayed. You can then search for a report topic or subject by typing keywords into the Search box in the centre of the screen and pressing the blue Search tab.
A search will produce a list of report and article results. You can narrow the list down by selecting the specific News, Reports, Companies, Sources, More or Countries & Regions options in the centre of your screen.
Click on a report title to view an EMIS report.
The report will be displayed on screen for you to view. You can use the scroll option on the right-hand side to view the whole report.
At the top of the EMIS home page are options to locate detailed reports on specific Companies, Industries or Countries.
