Illustrated London News is available to library members from home. It was the world’s first fully illustrated weekly newspaper. The publication presented a vivid picture of British and world events — including news of war, disaster, ceremonies, the arts, and science — with coverage in the first issue ranging from the Great Fire of Hamburg to Queen Victoria’s fancy dress ball at Buckingham Palace.
Times Digital Archive (TDA) is available to library members from home. It is an online archive of more than 200 years of The Times, covering 1785 - 2014.
Newspapers, Crosswords and More
We have a huge online newspaper resource called PressReader where you can find your favourite newspaper crossword and print it out, as well as reading the paper of course! You need to be a library member to access it but you can join online on our website.

The Independent Puzzle website has crosswords, sudoko, card games and more and there are free activity sheets to download from Activities to Share.
Or for something different try online jigsaws from Jigzone or Jigsawplanet.
You could even try a West Sussex Libraries Jigsaw of one of our Past Pictures or library related images!
