West Sussex Libraries' resources for visually impaired people

We have a range of resources for people with a visual impairment, including large print books, audiobooks, and our eLibrary.

 

All of our libraries have large print books. These are the original book in a format with at least a 16 point font. Large print books are free to reserve and borrow.

 

To find a large print book on our online catalogue use the advanced search option and select the format large print.

 

All libraries stock audiobooks on CD and the larger libraries also have Playaways (pre-loaded audio devices). Both of these are unabridged versions of the original book. Audiobooks are free to reserve and there is no charge to borrow them if you are unable to read print.

Access eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers in our eLibrary. These can be downloaded or borrowed for free on your computer, smartphone, tablet or eBook reader.
