Both sad and heart warming I thoroughly enjoyed Crossan's new book. With it being quite short the end and beginning were closely followed with the realism of the sad finale. I loved the way it was written as again, school life was captured perfectly (similar to Silence is Goldfish) and the difference in both of the characters was perfectly done. You could not have a favourite and with the obvious pain of the characters, empathy was effectively created and sadness was released with the last few pages. Although my favourite naturalistic book (Breathe and Resist were very good!) of Crossan's I would not say it was as strong as some of the fellow books. However, it is unique and the story short and powerful showing the importance in friendship and the horror of school clichés. I would recommend sincerley as Crossan tackles some serious issues and brings a new light to those effected in being conjoined.
