Friday 8th May 2020 marked the 75th anniversary of VE Day and the end of World War Two in Europe, and Saturday 15th August 2020 marked 75 years since the end of World War Two in Japan, known as VJ Day. West Sussex Libraries have a wide range of resources for you including photographs, audio clips from veterans from World War One, World Two and post 1945 conflicts, historic newspaper reports, plus links to information from other organisations.

Military Voices Past and Present is oral history project from West Sussex Libraries to record the experiences of local veterans in 20th Century conflicts, including World War Two. Listen to audio clips of veterans who served in WW2, including Vera Bartram who worked at Bletchley Park.
