Join our West Sussex Libraries - Family Corner Facebook group - a place where the whole family can come together to share stories, sing songs and enjoy all that libraries have to offer.

Welcome to Story Magic online!
We hope you enjoy our Story Magic Online: The Little Seed, a Bag Books Story. These are fun and suitable for everyone but especially brilliant for children with additional needs.
To take part in this multi-sensory story you may like to gather a few of the following items from around the home to use as props to help bring the story alive and engage with the senses.
The items we will be using for this story are:
- 2 metal spoons to rattle together
- A pot/bowl and seed/stone from an Avocado/Peach
- Spray water bottle / Sponge with a little dish of water
- Cut a circle of foil or cover a paper plate with foil
- Little pot with lid and a small leaf inside eg: spinach
- Musical bells/shaker
- Ball of wool/twine/string to unravel
- Beaded necklace
- Twig with leaves
If you don’t have an item at home you could swap it for another!

Join us for two special Rhyme Time Online sessions as part of the Holiday Activity and Food project.
We usually offer at least one Rhyme Time or Toddler Time from each of our 36 libraries every week and many also hold Storytimes, so while library sessions are suspended, we are finding ways to bring rhymes and stories to you at home!
