Rev. Dr. James York Bramston, Rev. Dr. Thomas Griffiths and Rev. Francis Tuite, clerk, all of 35 Golden Square in the parish of St. James, Westminster (co. Midd.).
This was the last lease of the Catholic chapel; see H. Willaert, History of an Old Catholic Mission: Cowdray-Easebourne-Midhurst, p. 76, who adds that it 'is now [1928] called the Easebourne Village Institute, and the presbytery is the caretaker's lodge'

This property was purchased in 1823 out of money obtained from the enfranchisement of copyhold properties [no details] in the manor of River [in Tillington], and limited to uses as if purchased under the powers of the Local and Personal Act, 45 Geo. III cap. 85. The last deed (no. 509) has a schedule of deeds, 1766-1822, covenanted to be produced. No. 505 is an office copy of the will (proved 1819) of William Shotter of Easebourne, which devises house, butcher's shop, etc. (copyhold of the manor of Easebourne Priory), copyhold or customary messuage and farm called Ingrams in Easebourne (held of the manor of Cowdray), freehold messuage and farm in Easebourne called Franklins, two copyhold or customary messuages and lands called Franks and Lickfold House at Lickfold (held of the manor of Lodsworth), freehold messuage and lands called Collyers 'in or near' Fernhurst and Woolavington, and freehold messuage [no name] in Easebourne, and bequeaths leasehold farm and lands called Pound Barn [no parish named], and leasehold meadow near Easebourne Mill
