If you live, work or study in West Sussex you can join our library service for free. If you are under 14 you will need the permission and library card number of a parent or carer.
You can join in person by visiting any West Sussex Library – make sure bring personal identification and proof of address, such as a driving licence with you.
To join online complete the form below, remember:
- you will need to choose a library as your home branch so that your details can be registered
- you will need to choose a memorable PIN
- fields marked with an * must be filled in
- to complete registration, tick the box at the end of the form, which means you agree to our library byelaws and terms and conditions.
You will receive email confirmation of your membership the next working day and will then be able to access the eLibrary. Choose from eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks, eComics, eNewspapers - or go for all of them!
Your library card will be sent to you by post. If you want access to the full range of library books and other items from our shelves, you can upgrade to full membership, with no charge, at a West Sussex library as detailed below.
You will need to visit your local library with ID and proof of address upgrade to full membership to be able to borrow up to 20 items.
If you are already a member but have lost your library card, you will need to complete this form.
If you are a Crawley College student please go into the Library with your library card and College ID to get your membership finalised. You will still receive the library card by post.
